The Photos app on your Apple device is amazing, but sometimes it can be difficult to find the one photo you are looking for. Since all of your photos are stored in one album, you could be spending unnecessary time scrolling through old photos to find the exact one you are looking for. Surely there is an easier way to organize your photos! Thankfully, Apple already thought about this issue and fixed it for you.
With all Apple devices, you have the ability to create your own albums in the photos app. This gives you the ability to organize photos any way you want. If you want to learn how to create an album, follow the steps below!
Step #1: Open the “Photos” app
Step #2: At the bottom of your screen, there will be four options: “Photos”, “For You”, “Albums” and “Search.” Tap the “Album” option.
Step #3: Tap the “+” sign in the upper left-hand corner of your screen.
Step #4: Choose “New Album.”
Step #5: Type the name you want your album to be called and tap “Save.”
Step #6: After you have chosen a name, you will be given the opportunity to select all the photos you wish to store in that album. Tap on the photos you want in that album and then select “Done” in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
You have successfully created an album! Now you can easily organize and store your photos exactly how you want them.
