Have you been stuck at the store wondering if a certain decoration will fit on your wall at home? Or maybe you were shopping for the perfect carry-on for your next trip? You may be the type of person that takes a tape measure with you when you are shopping for something specific, but what if I told you there was a much easier way to measure things? All you have to do is pull out your iPhone and open an app!
Step #1: Open the “Measure” app on your iPhone.
Step #2: You will see an option titled “Camera View” that you will need to tap. Once you tap that option then there will be a prompt that tells you to “Move iPhone to start.”
Step #3: Use the camera view to find the object you wish to measure. When a white dot appears, place the dot at the starting point of the object and tap the “+” icon on the screen.
Step #4: Move your iPhone to finishing point of the object and tap the “+” icon again to finish the measurement. You will see a white line that displays the distance between the two dots you connected.
