Instagram stories used to only be photos and videos, but Instagram has recently released the use of stickers and polls for stories. The newest feature Instagram has created is the ability to add music to your story through the use of a music sticker.
You can now add any song to your Instagram story! The best part about this feature is that you can add music to both photos and videos on your story. You now have the ability to not only allow people to see how you feel, but also to hear how you feel through the use of music.
Another great aspect of this feature is that it is extremely easy to use. Below are the simple steps for you to follow to add music to your Instagram Story:
The first thing you need to do is make sure that you have the latest version of the Instagram app. After you have the latest version downloaded, open the app and tap the camera icon in the upper left-hand corner of your homepage.
Once you have opened the camera, you will then either take a photo or video. After you have captured your image, tap the “Stickers” icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Opening the stickers page, you will find all of the stickers you can place on top of your image or video. You will see one sticker that says “Music” so tap that one. Choosing that sticker will open the Instagram music library. You will be able to search for a song or browse the available music.
After you choose the perfect song for your story, you can fast-forward or rewind through the song to choose the exact part of the song that fits your story.
Now you are ready to post your creation to your story. You can also add any extra stickers, GIFs, polls, or hashtags to your photo or video. Once you have completed your creation, tap the “Your Story” button at the bottom of the screen. Your photo or video is now available on your Instagram Story for your followers to enjoy.
