Google Maps was created to help you find anything you need. It is considered one of the best navigation apps, so it’s hard to believe that it could get even better. With the newest update of Google Maps, you can now find the closest electric vehicle charging stations near you.
The first step in finding the closest charging station is opening the Google Maps app on your phone. Once you open the app, then search key terms like “ev charging” or “EV charging stations.” These two terms will show you where the closest stations are. If you cannot decide which station to go to, you can look at the extra information that is provided like where the business is located, the types of ports available, charging speeds, and how many ports there are. There will also be extra information from past customers, including, ratings, reviews, and frequently asked questions. Once you choose a location, you can tap the “directions” button and Google Maps will direct you to the location that you chose.
This new feature ensures that your car will be always be charged and ready for the road.
