Live photos are the closest thing a photo can get to being a video. These provide cool motion to normally still photographs. Even though you take a still photograph, 1.5 seconds of the picture will be in motion. If you are unfamiliar with live photos, keep reading to find out more!
How to take a live photo:
- Open the Camera app
- Tap the Live Photo button (looks like a set of diffusing rings at the top of your screen). If it is yellow, then that means it is on.
- Tap the Shutter button to take a photo
How to set a live photo as your wallpaper:
- Open the Photos app
- Find the live photo you wish to use
- Tap the “Share” button
- Tap “Use as wallpaper”
- Tap “Live Photo” that is displayed on the lower right-hand side of your screen.
- Tap “Set”
- Choose “Set Lock Screen, Set Home Screen, or Set Both”
How to get a still shot from a Live Photo:
- Open the Photos app
- Choose the Live Photo you want
- Tap the “Share” button in the bottom left-hand corner of you screen
- Tap “Duplicate”
- Tap “Duplicate as Still Photo”
