Apple just released the iOS 12.1.3 update, but they are already planning for something bigger. The iOS 12.2 update is special because it is releasing some new software that has never been seen before in an iPhone. While there is not a for sure release date yet, customers are already getting excited about the new features.
One of the biggest additions that comes along with this update is the new beta software program. This new beta system is important because it will give you the ability to connect with every other device that is capable of running iOS 12. This means that your new iPhone would be compatible with older versions such as the iPhone 5s, iPad Air 2, iPhone X, and others.
With this new update, you will also be able to control access to your TV through the Home app. Another change you will see will be to the Apple TV Remote that you find in your Control Center. In the Control Center, you will also find a new button for screen mirroring. Your AirPlay icon may be different when AirPlaying to certain devices because this also underwent some changes.
Even though there is not an official release date yet, it is expected to be available in March. Until then, you will have to patiently wait for all of these amazing features.
