Option 1: Instant Notes from Anywhere

Instant Notes is actually a feature of Apple Notes that’s completely hidden in your phone. It may be hard to find, but once you set it up, you will find a Notes button in your Control Center. You will then be able to simply tap on the icon to start taking notes. Follow the steps below to set it up!

Step 1: Open your “Settings” app and find “Control Center.”

Step 2: Once you are in the Control Center settings, tap “Customize Controls.” There will be a list for you so you need to choose the “Notes” option. Click the green “Plus” button next to it.

Option 2: Drafts 5

Drafts 5 allows you to jot down whatever is going through your mind at the time. It’s an easy app to download and start using. Follow the steps below to set up this app!

Step 1: Download Drafts 5 from the app store.

Step 2: Access your widget page and scroll to the bottom.

Step 3: Choose “Edit” and then hit the green “Plus” button next to “Drafts.”

It is a shortcut that you create so Siri opens any note in the Notes app. Give it a specific phrase and next time you say it, Siri will open the note instantly.
