Recording Skype calls is not a new feature, but it has been an annoying one. It used to be confusing, but now Skype is making this easier for you. For a time, Skype was testing this new feature only on some previous users. However, Skype is ready to make this feature available for everyone.
Recording calls is now as easy as the touch of a button. After you have started a call, you can press the “+” button on either the desktop or mobile versions, and then press “Start recording.” To alert all callers that the conversation is being recorded, a small banner will appear at the top of your screen.
Once you have finished your call, the whole recording will appear in your chat. It will remain accessible for 30 days. If you wish to have the recording for longer, you or anyone involved in the recording can download it anytime within that 30-day time period. You will also have the ability to forward the recording to anyone.
