Find My iPhone does exactly what the name suggests. With this application, you can easily track your iPhone. You can easily see your phone’s location at anytime. Find My iPhone also allows you to track up to five other devices using the app.
If your phone battery has died and you are unable to locate your phone, then you can easily find it using this app because it records the last known location of the phone before it dies.
How to Turn on Find My iPhone:
Step #1: Tap the “Settings” app.
Step #2: Tap on your name.
Step #3: Tap “iCloud” and then “Find My iPhone.”
Step #4: Tap the toggle button next to “Find My iPhone” to turn the feature on. When it is on, the color green will appear. Also make sure that “Send Last Location” is turned on.
When the Find My iPhone feature is turned on, you will be able to see the location of your phone in the app.
How to Track Your Family’s Phone on Find My iPhone:
Step #1: Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone.
Step #2: Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
Step #3: Tap “Family Sharing.”
Step #4: Tap “Add Family Member” and choose how you want to invite them to be tracked.
After your family member has accepted your invitation to be tracked, they will need to turn on “Location Sharing.” Once they have turned on Location Sharing, you will be able to see their location anytime you open your Find My iPhone app.
