These new Apple Watch features could save your life

Have you been on the fence about buying an Apple Watch? Well, one of the new features recently released by Apple will change your mind. The new Apple Watch Series 4 now incorporated fall-detection technology. By using an accelerometer and a gyroscope, the watch is able to identify when hard falls occur. The best part about this new feature is that it can even call for help after you fall.

Falls have the potential to be a major concern, especially if you are home alone. If you are home alone when you fall, getting to the phone to call for help can also be a major concern. Thankfully this new Apple Watch takes care of both of these concerns.

This new Apple Watch could also help save your life through the help of its built-in electrical heart rate sensor. With the help of this heart rate sensor, the watch can take an electrocardiogram (ECG) by pairing with a new ECG app.

Having an ECG available at your wrist, allows you to better keep track of your heart rate. Since this feature is connected to your iPhone, you can also easily share this information with your doctor.

Both of these features were FDA approved and allowed Apple to be the first company to provide these features in wearable technology. These two components are extremely helpful on their own, but when they are paired together, they can save your life.
