Introduction to Instagram & Twitter, April 20, 1pm-3pm, $15

Do you hear your grandchildren talking about Instagram and Twitter?  Do you want to be able to see pictures that they post and finally understand words like “hashtag” and “tweet?” Join us for a 2 hour workshop going over the basics of Instagram & Twitter…just another wonderful way to stay connected!  During the 2 hour Instagram/Twitter workshop, you will learn the following:

1. Instagram Explained
2. Searching for photos
3. Editing and Posting Photos
4. Adding comments
5. Follow friends
6. Using Hashtags

3. Tweet! Retweet!
4. Gather followers
5. Mention others in Tweets

* You must bring a device (laptop, tablet, iPad, or smartphone) with you to this workshop.  You must also know how to use this device confidently as this is not a workshop on how to use your device.

**It would be very helpful to have an Instagram & Twitter account set up before coming to the workshop. You can download the apps and sign up there.  Or you can access Instagram & Twitter from your computer by going to www.twitter.com and www.instagram.com and sign up that way.  Just don’t forget your passwords!
